So now Noah is the bad guy? Listen up guys...Kevin Garnett is not a great player...He is/was a very good player. Drafted fresh out of high school he became the rage of the NBA. Young, big, passionate, hard playing and totally committed to his taem and management. He starred for a team that was not destined to win a champioship. Fast forward...When the opportunity came to go elsewhere for big money and a chance for a NBA championship, Kevin jumped. To make a long story short, Kevin got his ring with his new team (Boston Celtics. And,looked forward to winning a second ring. It became obvious to him however, that he was now an aging star. This realization was difficult for him to accept. Injuries piled up and were now becoming a matter of deep concern. Keeping up with opponent young guns added to his frustrations. Resulting in release pent up fury and flashes of violent anger. The swinging of an elbow could crack a man's skull and is a very serious thing. And to happen at the near end of a game his team was assured of winning with only a minute or so left in the game is inexcusable. There was no need for Kevin to be involved in the fracas...He was was full display before a large TV audience with sports announcers, analysts and prognosticators all giving their version of the incident. What were the NBA officials going to do? What would the NBA do?
Had he cracked an opponent player's skull or caused a serious facial fracture, that would be the end of his season and probably his last chance for another ring.
As for Noah,in my opinion he was speaking from experience having felt the pain from Kevin's elbows...Thus the charge "Dirty Player". Noah should not be characterized as a bad guy for his statement(s). Note: English is his second/3rd language.
