Its called being smart. When you are the best player in the league, playing for a team who has already accomplished what they needed to accomplish in the regular season, why risk injury?
He would be at an even greater risk given his style of play. It would make absolutely no sense to go out and try to win games that have no bearing on the rest of the season. If you should be upset with anyone, be upset with the rest of the league. If they had played better against the Cavs, Cleveland would need LeBron to keep playing.

Prudence? I understand that any loss or win hereon is inconsequential. But for me, it reeks of arrogance. He isn’t injured. The least that he can do is play for even just for a few minutes and make plays for his mates. At least he was in uniform and stayed in the foxhole with the team. The guy is definitely full of himself!
