Coach Brown is the weak link of the Cavaliers.
About never calling plays and his "Are you kidding me?" comment, there should be plenty of plays available to be called with an NBA team.
Brown is right that defense is what wins championships but...it seems like he can suppress offense or at least having organized offense. Last year and this year were the first years of the LeBron era where there was any organized offense at all. So why would Brown scoff at the idea of calling plays? Well, because if a game ever became about killer offense, like having Boobie Gibson play enough to be warm then drop 9 points in 50 seconds with 3 or 4 minutes remaining in a close game, then the end of the game might be easy. You wouldn't need to have Mo hurt his shoulder diving out of bounds to try to get an emergency possession. But if a big game became easy because of offense, CAVS wouldn't be about Mike Brown.
Brown better understand that the reasons so many teams go to just 8 or 9 man rotation in the playoffs is because they only have 7 or 8 good players. We have like 14 stud players and Brown needs to have every player ready, tuned up and ready to finish off every team we meet in the playoffs as efficiently as possible, not exhaust 7 players and lose like in game 1 v Orlando last year.
LeBron, call more plays. Go Cavs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
