The Lakers have never recruited from their d-league team as far as I know, they just relegate unused rookies to get a few more reps. Meanwhile they have a necrotic point guard corps and bench that could have used an influx of cheap talent with some triangle experience.
This is why the Warriors spend so much time contending for championships while…. wait, nevermind, why am I whining?
