even turner won’t be in the NBA draft until next year. he’s returning for his senior season at ohio state.

I agree with Mr. Heberly. If you think that someone’s draft stock drops from 1 game I guess you would have your head in the sand like a ostrich waiting out a sandstorm. The kid is a stud and the #1 point guard in the draft. To say he’ll go #1, #2 or where ever really doesn’t matter. The National Player Of The Year is going top 5 and where someone needs him to start that season.
If they would have done a better job driving to the hole and forcing Tennessee to foul and make those free throws, especially when they were up by ten. Also stating that if David Lighty would have driven on them and shot instead of some of those bricks that went up we would have seen MSU/OSU rematch. So it doesnt matter what happened happened so wish Evan well if he goes. It was a great ride. John Wall and Cousins and the kid from Kansas. They are all great players. Any one of them will be an all star in a couple years in the NBA. draftstock is exactly that…fodder for those with nothing better to do than predict the future…Who is selling those futures on a phoneline from Vegas….Better yet, how many have the final four the way it is now….

I watched WVU beat Kentucky last night. Cousins didn’t impress me, none of them impressed me and this was supposed to be the super-freshman class. But they CHOKED – BIG-TIME. Something like 3 out of 25 from beyond the arc, WVU just flat out whipped them. Was it because they are just 18-19 year old kids and the first time on the big stage was too much? Who knows?

Ok, Just throwing this out there, yes Evan Turner was the greatest player in college hoops this year, but saying that the rest of the buckeyes were nothing with out them is just dumb. If you look at a final four team Butler, who Ohio State took to the wire… WITHOUT turner.. Just saying the buckeyes went as far as Diebler could Shoot. Turner drove and dished out you have to have role players just like the NBA, if everyone tripple teamed Labron James and he had no other scores then that team would be were they were about 4 years ago.. no where… Yes ET is the man.. But the rest of the buckeyes were a hell of a team too.

Your comment makes no sense. When he said “The pick between he and Turner,” he was talking about the pick between DeMarcus Cousins and Evan Turner. Matt Moore is not talking about himself in any of this article.

This isn’t a very good article.It’s pretty biased in favor of Kentucky. I would say that Wall and Turner have seperated themselves from everybody else. I think that it’s a tossup between them and you can’t really go wrong. As far as Cousins, he is obviously a beast in the paint, but his immaturity raises a serious red flag. Taking him over Wall or Turner would be a terrible decision.

The team lost the game not one player. To put it in perspective, the team would not have made it this far in the tournament without Turner. I personally do not think his draft status has changed because of one loss, no matter the importance of the game. Each team currently in the sweet 16 are formidable opponents and can win, especially when a team collectively does not play well. Just my opinion.

What a rediculous story. Hello, did you forget that Tenn beat TWO teams ranked #1 this season? What about all the talented players at Kansas? Did their draft stock drop too because they lost the first weekend? One nice thing: Turner will have more money when he signs his contract this summer than the writer of this garbage will make in his entire life. Priceless.You need to get a real job.
