I won’t say Jackson’s over-rated. I will say Jordan/Pippen and Kobe/Shaq could make lots of coaches “geniuses”.

Jackson is a critical element for the Lakers’ team. Could someone else do the job? Probably….maybe…who knows but why mess with success as long as Jackson is willing and capable and wants to return? He is one of the great coaches in NBA history.
