I’ve heard that Mr. Jordan was planning to change the Bobcat’s name. Will I would like to give him something to thank about (The Charlotte Airness) or (The Charlotte JAMS) which is close to his father’s name whom he loved dearly. I’ve always been a huge fun of Micheal’S, when he stopped playing I stopped watching basket ball. I will start back now.

Jazz should belong to New Orleans – there’s NOTHING jazzy about utah whereas jazz is uniquely identifiable with new orleans.
new orleans should get jazz back, charlotte should get hornets back, and utah can be the peaks or alps or whatever they want.

Why not name them the “Knights”? Charlotte is the called “the queen city” or “the queen’s city” is it not? Then when the opposing team comes in looking for a victory why not have the “Knights defend home court?

I want the Hornets name back. They should trade with New Orleans and Utah, leaving Utah with the task of finding a new name. I was a huge Hornets fan, the colors and the mask worked in this city. Shinn was a loser in the end. That was the problem with the team.

I agree with the Utah / New Orleans mess. Leaving the team name when you leave a city should be required by the league. Cleveland’s mayor Michael White demanded that the Browns name as well as their history remain in Cleveland. It’s ridiculous for a team located in the middle of a desert like L.A. to call themselves the Lakers and claim history that was made in Minneapolis. Good for you Oklahoma City, Supersonics belong to Seattle.

S**T HAPPENS! People in Seattle are willing to pay for Maruajna but not a penny for a new basketball arena. What else can you accept from a state that encourages pot? Well you move to a market where people are willing to pay for an arena and will also go to the games when the team is not paying well. If the citizens for Charlotte are not going to support team (whatever the name maybe), you would be soon calling them Las Vegas Gamblers.
