Nope. Losing is definitely NOT all the players fault. No experience? Check. Major time-consuming injuries to 40% of the projected starting 5? Check. Top 5 youngest team in the league? Check. Coaching change mid-season? Check. Current coach with no experience on how to run a team or tie his own tie? Check. Cloud hanging over the most in debt team in the league with a pending ownership change? Check.
No the Nets have more talent on paper than the Knicks, Kings, TWolves, Pistons, Warriors, Bucks, Bulls, 76ers and Wizards. The Nets are not a BAD team: they are simply too young with no real captain manning this ship. Partner that with all the administrative stuff I listed above and you surely have a recipe for disaster. name one team I mentioned above who has a better one-two punch (when healthy) than Devin and Brooke (the former a 27 year old All Star and the latter only 21!) for many years to come? With the possible addition of John Wall and enough cap space for one big free agent and another mid level free agent the Nets should battle for a playoff spot next year. yes, the same team that has only 7 wins this season will likely be a playoff team next year. If you don't think so you don;t follow the team and their situation close enough... Bring on the Ruskie!!!

"the entire team should have been storm-out-of-the-gym frustrated back in January"
This would only make sense if the losing wasn't the players fault. But it is so they need to spend as much time in the gym practicing as possible.

As the NBA season winds down, meaningless games will be tanked so the Nets exceed 9 wins and do not set a record that is so richly deserved. This team is the worst ever with no redeeming qualities. Nothing can deny them this dubious honor.
Remember the 2003 Detroit Tigers when they amazingly won five of their last seven games to escape deserved ignomity. The fraternity protects its own, right or wrong.
