From a young age, every basketball player is told to get comfortable using their off hand around the basket and on drives, but few players master the skill. Even at the NBA level, the vast majority of players have a dominant hand that they would prefer to drive to, and most of them are good enough to get away with it. After his crossover was done, AI would usually end up driving to his right. Dirk Nowitzki and Sam Cassell love/loved driving to their left to set up their mid-range jumper. Mega-prospect John Wall shoots righty, but favors going left on drives and finishes.

It has to be Brandon Roy, he is a righty that prefers to finish left. There is pretty much no one better with their off-hand.

Don’t forget Greg Oden. Didn’t he shoot FTs with his left hand at OSU (when he broke his right hand) and hit at about 70%?

Is it an inside joke that the only category listed is “Lakers” despite 5 teams’ players being represented?

Another vote for Brandon Roy at #3.
He really might be the best left handed finisher in the game. He may not have a lefty dribble like Steve Nash or have a symmetrical game like Kobe but if your talking about how effective a player is with the off hand he might be #1.

I would add Chris Kaman, who is excellent with his left hand around the basket like Boozer.

I don’t know about shooting with hims off hand, but as far as passing with their off hand, I watch Step Curry the other night play against the Lakers, he is better than Steve Nash at passing with his left hand.
