		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t think Dumars was ever planning on &quot;rebuilding&quot; until this season.  They just grossly underestimated what Billups brought to their team.  They saw a high contract for what they thought was a player on his last legs.
They assumed Stuckey would be better than Chauncey, when in reality, he was the force behind sending them to the ECF every year.  They assumed he was holding them back.  Stuckey is good, but he doesn&#039;t play D or bring the leadership that Billups did.
My guess is they wanted to clear cap space to sign Boozer, but when he stayed w/ the Jazz, they were out of good ideas.
If they were in true rebuild mode, they wouldn&#039;t have overpaid Charlie V and Gordon.  Joe Dumars is in over his head right now.]]></description>
