No dude. Normal people only don’t flinch of an unanticipated incoming object when they get blindsided. Otherwise when it is coming right in front of you like what Barnes did to Kobe, normal people would have flinched.
But you are right, this is the NBA not some Power Puff Girl arena.
In a real man’s world jampacked with testosterone and all, Matt Barnes should know his place — and his somewhere down there in the pecking order.
With the way he reacted, he obviously was a sore loser. The best that he would have done was maintain his cool and give Kobe back what Kobe would be dishing at him. Tit-for-tat. Since he lost his cool, among us men, Matt ended up the whining loser.

You are absolutely right. I don’t care who you root for. It is all about the rings. Kobe has 4 and will probably end up with 5 or 6 and making a pronouncement on his guilt or innocence in the Denver case when there was no verdict, no admission of rape or any real evidence to support it is absurd. I wouldn’t want anyone on any jury who makes absolutes based on conjecture. But all the “so called” fans of teams whose rejoinders are “they suck” and/or cannot spell are pretty pathetic. The Lakers, like the Yankees, treat their players pretty well. I dislike the Yankees but I respect their buisness model. They spend money to win which is ultimately the fans wish. And tell me why the survey of all players in the NBA asking which team they would like to play for, they overwhelmingly say “the Lakers”. So sit back and have all the false illusions and delusions you want. I just say “SCOREBOARD”.
