i don't think you fully understand the situation. yes, the cavs paid Z and it's a business. but the cavs treated Z like crap this year: they gave shaq the starting job to appease shaq's ego without giving Z a chance, despite Z being a key player on the lineup that won 65+ games last year; they benched him exactly one time in his career -- on the night he was supposed to break the record for games played and had friends and family fly in to be there; then they traded him (fine) but everyone called the trade one-sided and a total steal (not okay). z has always played with pride and class, and taking a cold "business" approach is beneath him.

cleveland aint winning a dam thing, as much as the nba and david stern try to help them. it would be lovely for that trade to backfire on danny ferry though. real sweet actually. because without Z they have zero percent chance of even coming out the east!

Kurt,
I'm surprised that you didn't add that his agent is obviously trying to drive up his price for the Cavs. By saying "he is hurt" and might take contract of equal value from, say, ATL, then the Cavs might for over a bit more (although, I guess that depends what exceptions they have available...is it anything above the vet min?). When you were at FB and G you'd always remind people that leaks, quotes, etc. all have a motivation...
Anyway, keep up the good work. You guys are great over here.
