J. Raymes,
You are exactly right. Can’t use the excuse that the Cavs were exhausted. If anything they were too rusty, having to wait 9 days before the 1st game against the Magic. They lost that series, plain and simple, because of serious match-up problems. I love Delonte but he can’t guard Turkeyglue. Shaq and Z are here for two reasons only: one mans the middle for the Magic, the others roam the floor for the Lake show.

During last years Orlando series, lets not forget that the Cavs swept the Hawks and had to wait for Orlando to finish its 7 game series w/ Boston…
I’m saying that the Cavs were definitely not exhausted, as they were much more well rested than the Magic who had played 1.5x more playoff games than them up to that point

So the Cavs have played with 2 point guards out and won 13 in a row, and they have played with no Z and now Shaq and even though NY and NJ are bad teams, with the Cavs playing with “no true center”, NY and NJ had absolutely no clue where the next attack was coming from.
Looks like when Z and Shaq are both back the Cavs will have the full quiver of arrows. Biggest worry is Coach Brown will not know what to do with a team that will be 15 quality players deep and will not be able to get over his idea that during playoffs you shorten the rotation to 8 players. If he does that the 8 will be exhausted like they were in Orlando last year, and Cavs fans will watch the ship sink with half the hands on the bench – again!

It’s good to see how the Cavs adapted to “life without a center” during the season. However, The Playoffs are much different than the regular season. It would be good to have Z back @ center without Shaq fully ready, but even w/ Shaq the duo makes for a potent tandem. Also, Z is a team player & earned his shot @ The Title…

Surprise, surprise.. the Cavs need him now that Shaq is out so it will be great to have him back for the playoff run and into the playoffs.
