Enjoy those jabs while you can. The laughing stops this summer. Not only are the Nets a better team than their putrid record may say, they have a 20-10 21-year old center, a solid PG, the best chance to win the upcoming lottery, and the arrival of the wealthiest owner in all of professional sports. Add those ingredients to two new arenas as home courts and this team WILL be in the playoffs next year, with or without LBJ.
It doesn’t take a whole lot to kick a dog while it’s down, so why don’t you cut it out.
