Finally, a commenter who makes sense. I don't think I've ever heard your point so well laid out. And I agree with almost everything - except Dwight - he needs to show more offensive consistency - in both skill AND aggressiveness. Granted, it's not TOTALLY his fault - they need to get him the ball more and stop being selfish about outside shooting. Those shots need to come AFTER the ball has gone through him first. But that's where he has to start demanding the ball.
He happens to be on the right team now, but if he were on a team with a ball-hogger who was just average (i.e., a present day Allen Iverson), he'd be a disaster, because he wouldn't step up and get the ball out of his hands.
Otherwise, you're dead on. You should be the reporter here...

I'm not convinced Bosh is even a "sure thing." A damned good player for sure, and championship level second banana, but compared to wade or lebron I don't see it. Lebron puts you deep into the playoffs by himself. Wade sells tickets by himself, and COULD win a playoff series by himself if everything fell right, but Bosh doesn't do either.
Frankly Lebron should make twice as much as anybody else in the league, except maybe Duncan and Duncan- but only because they have tenure. I understand why this doesn't happen, but whatever he gets paid isn't enough.
The only players I'd rate as max players right now are: Lebron, Kobe, Dwight, Dirk, Wade, Chris Paul, Duncan. Durant will be soon, Melo might become one depending on how the playoffs go. Anybody else should take apaycut to play with those guys.
But teams with cap will throw money at who they have to because they have to. So we'll have a lockout in 2 years- possibly wiping out a year out of all those great players' careers- to save teams from themselves. Awesome.
