Probably the only way any other team would take Sasha is if Buss throws cash in the deal, hence lowering his lux-tax this year in the deal somehow, like through a trade exception or something. Sasha is a 5m a year bench warmer at the moment and will remain that on this Lakers team.

why go for hinrich? i dont think theres a problem in our pointguard position. they just lack defensive transition. lets make shannon that defensive pointguard.
if i were lakers i’d rather go for tyshaun prince, and trade sasha, morrison and walton. point guard wouldnt be a problem. farmar is fast. and shannon is a strong pointguard. i think lakers would have a solid bench teamif trade was made.

Hinrich is too slow to help the Lakers. He has already proven too slow for Chicago, and the Lakers have had a quickness problem on the floor since the got rid of Ariza and lost his transition defense. Hinrich is far to slow to fill that hole. They really need to spend their time shopping Bynum because he is an even bigger bad contract, and he clogs up the middle as was apparent in the games without Bynum and Kobe. During that period Gosal and Artest both played much better.
