You sound like evryone last year when we could have had Shaq and an NBA finals appearance but we sat pat. We need to go to extreme measures to win the world championship. Plus we’ll get Z back so the karma is good.

I think they ought to get Stoudemire if they want to try and contend against the Lakers. I also wish they would get a better coach. I can only imagine if they had a Riley or even Doug Collins someone that knows more about the game. I would not give up Green he is going to be spectacular I believe at least for a dead on shooter.

I agree…The Cavs need a new coach! They may win with Mike Brown, but it will be in-spite of him, not because of him. LeBron is more coach than MBrown. He appears clueless most of the time and it’s in crunch time and the playoffs when you need a top notch coach.

My honest opinion, the Cavs will not win a championship with the current coach. It needs a talented coach to manage a team with all these talents. He does not know how to manage a game. Watch all the previous years, it showed how inexperience he is to manage a game. His game plan is to give the ball to Labron and he will score. He never used the other four players to to support Labron. Watch past years and this year Labron had many points every year and no one else. Let us at the Lakers, there is Bryan Koby and several players work to defend him and help him to score. He has a very good supporting group.
This coach never know how to use the supporting group, that why they will not(I assure you) win a championship. You can give them all the supper stars and without a good coach to get them together, they are not going anywhere. Trust me.

Money can’t buy you love. And it can’t buy you championships either. Danny Ferry would be wise to proceed with extreme caution relative to making any major aquistions before the deadline that could negatively affect the teams chemistry. The Cavs are winning cuz they have rhythm. They have rhythm cuz they’re having fun. Having the “best players” thing is over rated and the sports graveyard is full of those type of teams that never made it to the promise land. Winning a championship is as much about beliefing as it is any thing else. The Cavs are at a point were the owners, the management and the players need to hold hands, actualize their belief in one another, a go for it hard. It’s us against the world kind of thing. No one else comes in and no one there leaves. The power of “one”.
The off season will be here soon enough.

For a talent like Amare, Danny Green will get traded without a thought. It might take a few seconds to make the same decision about Hickson.

the key to the deal is that Cleveland would have to take on Jason Richardson’s salary if they want Amare. this would mean the Cavs would sign Wally Szczerbiak and trade him along with Z, Hickson, Danny Green.
