Rondo, Team USA have "miscommunication"

Feb 12, 2010, 2:27 PM EDT

rondo.jpgEverything is good now between Rajon Rondo and USA Basketball, it was all just a Three’s Company episode.

That is what the Boston Herald is saying on its Celtics Blog (the paper  stole that name, by the way):

“There may have been a little miscommunication on that one,” (USA Basketball big cheese Jerry) Colangelo said. “The last go around he was unable to accept an invitation because he was going to be involved in Kendrick Perkins’ wedding.

“I was advised that he would not have interest but that may have been misinformation. But he’s a young player and there will be an opportunity in the future and we have a fluid roster to begin with. I’ve made that pretty clear. So we will revisit that. The door’s not closed.”

So the problem was The Ropers saw Rondo at the wedding — can’t be Jack’s wedding — and passed the information along to Colangelo but it wasn’t all the information, so Chrissy had to sort the whole thing out in her ditzy way.

Really? This is what USA Basketball has come to? We can do better here, folks.

    We knocked on Rondo’s door…..
    We’ve been waiting for him……
To play with the best at our behest……
    Three’s company too.
    Play for national pride…
Take a step for that is new….
Don’t give us a “nay” play for the USA
    Three’s company too.

That’s fine Rajon. We don’t want your arrogant ass on the team anyways. Just so you know, you aren’t better than Chris Paul, even if you think you are. You’re a horrible example of the American youth, and a great example of whats wrong with the NBA today. The greats used to get the ‘itch to represent our country’, now all they are worried about is when their going to get paid. Great Job, Ass.

What most people don’t know is that Rajon Rondo has a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Celtics have been blessed by this relationship and don’t know it. Think about it, what makes Rajon considered one of the best Point Guards in the league….He makes his decisions being led by the spirit, so far, he hasn’t done bad. To Rajon, The World will never see past the dimension it resides in….Keep the faith.
