I LOVE Allen Iverson! To me, he ‘is’ the Sixers. As long as he sells tickets, he deserves good pay and a spot on the team. And as far as challenging whether his daughter is really that sick… really? You wanna go there? AI is so happy to be back with the Sixers, for him to take off so many games, there’s obviously something big he’s dealing with at home.

Well Mr. Argonaut, your take is simply wrong. First of all, it’s very possible that Allen’s daughter is seriously ill and he needs to be there for her and the rest of his family. He’s a family person and being there is the right thing to do. Who are you to question another man’s statement about the illness of one of his children? Secondly, your statement that you would worry about your son’s illness only after you got home from work is unbelievably ignorant. Are you saying that your job is more important than the health of your children? You sound like the prima-donna. And, I can guarantee that, with that attitude, you will never be wearing any fatherhood championship rings. Your fatherhood approach stinks!

Allen Iverson obviously has a big problem understanding how BLESSED he is to have the opportunity to play professional sports and make millions of dollars while doing it. Mr. Iverson should thank God EVERYDAY that he made millions of dollars off the NBA and can support his family in a huge way. With people out of work everywhere, it is disgusting to see these young millionaires act like they do off the court.Take your TIRED ASS BACK BACK HOME and give the NBA fans a break from watching you self destruct. I wonder what this daughter’s illness is that needs his undivided attention. Is it really THAT serious?
I’m a father too and if my son is sick, I will tend to him WHEN I GET BACK from work.
The thing is, unlike me, A.I. doesn’t need to be out for work 8 hours a day. My take on this is that he is acting primadonna again. he thinks the whole world owes him a lot.
No wonder till now, he doesn’t have a ring.

Iverson needs to retire.
He is a distraction to any team he plays for. He is also a distraction for the league.
I am tired of his whining. He needs to go.
