Consider for a moment the downsizing of athletic programs/importance of exercise in schools. The “inked-ones make regularly financial investments into schools, program and individuals lives with the sport they have a gift in. Inked or not, who else is doing this? Well oliver has a point Lebron and Melo(my puertorrican brother from other mother) has been the only constant in the usa team basketball since they got to the league. I’m not trying to take from Lebron or Kobe but really sooner rather than later kobe and the lakers are gong down kobe still kind of young but how many years he’s been playing at a high level 13 or 14 most of the all time great at that point fo their career were starting to go downhill. kobe is getting injured too often lately so let’s start saying bye bye kobe and hello Lebron. And by the way my favorite player is Melo i think that there’s some parts of Melo game that are better than Lebron but gotta admit that Lebron have a better athletic ability. C’mon let’s be honest it’s Lebron weren’t talking about about a 12 man of the team, Lebron equals max dollars I would do the same thing F****k that I’m not going anyhwhere ’til I sign a contract.

Please answer this: Other than Carmelo, name an NBA cager who has sacrificed 4 summers to fulfill Team USA commitment? You and Krak Hell also conveniently ommited the fact that Kobe was a free agent in 2004 but didn’t offer his service to the much maligned 2004 Olympic squad. Ah but Lebron’s held to a higher standard I suppose.

I know that the discusion is not about MJ but just going by what blake said didn’t the Bulls make the playoff the season that
MJ was out trying to be a “baseball player” and nobody said that Pippen and Grant made MJ better it was the other way around. Now the escenario of the Lakers is pretty much the same yo got Gasol, Artest, Odom, Bynum, etc. a lot of good player + Kobe arguably the best player since he got drafted and you telling me that them make Kobe better don’t think so. How many playoff series did Gasol won at Memphis NONE, before odome became a Laker he was on his way to becoming a journeyman, Artest you know his history, bynum injury prone c’mon there is no way this guys make Kobe better. Also to win championships don’t you gotta have the best team because at the end of the day basketball still a team game. Nobody is taking against MJ because he had good players around him and he did has good players around him. Going back to Lebron I think he’s going to stay in Cleveland that where he can get the more money. And patriotic he ain’t he’s not in the armed forces he’s gatting paid to play in all those tournament, if just playing in those tournaments makes you a hero what about the guys that risk their lives at war.

In case you’ve been in Mars all these years, since turning pro in 2003-04, Lebron has played in the 2004 Olympics, 2006 World Basketball, 2007 Tournament of the Americas and 2008 Olympics.That’s 4 international commitments in just 6 years in the league -more than anybody in league along with Carmelo Anthony. The guy is a lot more patriotic than you would have us beleived.
In contrast your dog, Kobe played in only 2 international tournaments in the 13 years he played in the NBA. Oh yeah that’s right, he was injured raping that poor girl in Colorado and so fatigued feuding with Shaq.
