We won&#039;t know how likely a potential lockout might be until negotiations progress further.  CBA negotiations just began, and you&#039;re already saying a lockout is likely?  The NBAPA hasn&#039;t even submitted a counter offer yet.  The proper characterization would be to say a lockout is possible, because that&#039;s all you can say with any confidence.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[If NBA owners are taking $10-20M in operating losses to the dome, &lt;i&gt;before&lt;/i&gt; luxury tax payments, they&#039;d be more than willing to lockout the players for a season.  Frankly, NBA players have been vastly overpaid for the past decade, ever since the last lockout.  Honestly, $25M for 4 years of James Posey?  I&#039;d say cut the veteran and rookie salary scales by one third, keep minimum salaries the same, and up the luxury tax level, then everyone is happy.  I&#039;m sure Kobe will be just as happy with $16M as $24M.]]></description>
